A. p. d. 'Red Filigree Lace' ('Ruby Lace')
MOUNDING DWARF
4'-5'
ZONE 5-8
SUN TO PT SHADE
Thread-thin delicate leaves are so lacy they look like wisps of smoke. The leaves themsleves are as thin, delicate and web-like as the veins that sketch across the surface of wider leaves. They are a deep, purple red that holds up till late in the season and becomes bright crimson in autumn. Despite its delicate appearance, it tolerates full sun with little or no complaint till very late summer. Slow growth and difficulty of propagation make this cultivar relatively rare. #1 @ $38.50; #2 @ 50.00
