This beautiful new maple was carefully observed and tested for over 20 years before introduction. Originated as a seedling from A. s.' Aureum' but has many unique characteristics including brilliant red spring leaves veined in light green; later, new growth appears with the same colors. Summer's leaves are gold with a lime wash.
