A is for ‘acer’ which is Latin for maple.
d is for ‘dissectum’, the lace leaf or cut leaf form.
p is for ‘palmatum’, one of the several species of Japanese Maple. It has the greatest number of cultivars.
j is for japonicum, another species of Japanese Maple.

The leaf lobes are remarkably fine and may show some burn by summer's end but in fall they still sparkle red like the fine spray from fireworks. Colors are a mix of red and green. #2 @ $65.00
