A. p. 'Kuro hime'
DWARF  •  1-2'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
New for us. New growth blushes rose with pride in self before assuming the mature, disciplined tones of green. This little maple with tiny leaves grows bit by bit till wider than tall but always small. #1 @ $40.00

A. p. 'Lozita'
UPRIGHT  •  10-15'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
Bright red palmate leaves greet spring, slowly morph to bronze-green by late summer and ignite in flame orange-red for fall. Plant in full sun for best color. larger specimens available in 10" containers @ $65.00 & 85.00

A. p. 'Mama'
UPRIGHT  •  8'-12'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
Old ‘Mama’ maple has so many leaf forms she does what she can and it works. Her unique texture stands out. Summer color is green; fall is golden orange. #1 @ 38.50

A. p. 'Manyo no sato'
UPRIGHT  •  3'-5'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
New for us. Wearing the court jester's party colored clothes, 'Manyo no sato' is not just a silly creature but rather a distinguished beauty. Variegation and leaf form are similar to 'Beni shi en' but the lime green, red and cream colors are far brighter. In fall it turns orange, purple and red. #1 @$40.00

A. p. 'Matsugue'
UPRIGHT  •  12-15'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
This tree is like Butterfly in many ways but taller with branches that are heaftier, not as twiggy. The variegation has a similar pattern of green with cream edges. The fall colors of red and orange still reveal the variegations. older specimens in 10" containers available from $75.00 to 95.00

A. p. 'Mikawa yatsubusa'
UPRIGHT  •  4'-5'  •  ZONE 5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
Rustling winds can barely penetrate the densely packed and tightly overlaid leaves of this intriguing dwarf. Long lobes on extra large leaves and thick, gnarly branches add character. A glorious mix of gold, red and orange makes up fall's gaudy pallete. #2 @ $55.00 Larger specimens available in 10" containers @ $75.00 to $110.00.

A. p. 'Nicholsonii'
UPRIGHT  •  9-12'  •  ZONE 5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
Large, deeply divided, long lobed leaves start out yellow-green, rimmed in soft red, then pure green for summer. Fall color is the very brightest imaginable red. Branches are open and spreding so it will grow wider than tall. #2 @ 50.00; larger @$65.00 - $75.00

A. p. 'Nishiki momiji'
UPRIGHT  •  10' - 12'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PT. SHADE
Spring brings leaves with pink and orange tones, colors that recede slowly to the margins then disappear as bright yellow-greens take over. The leaves have long, finely toothed lobes and turn an outrageous red in the fall. This cultivar is in a standout-specimen category with its colors, textures and its oval, upright form! #2 @ $50.00

A. p. 'Nuresagi'
UPRIGHT  •  12'-15'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PT. SHADE
Translate 'Nuresagi' and you get 'Wet Heron', though definitely better than 'Wet Dog', not what I personally associate with something as beautiful as this tree. The large leaves of dark purple are deeply divided and the lobes spread out. The young branches also have some purple color. Scarlet dominates in fall. #2 @ 50.00; larger specimens available @ $75.00 & 85.00

A. p. 'Ogon sarasa'
UPRIGHT  •  12-18'  •  5-8  •  SUN TO PART SHADE
For those who love the drama of the ever-changing nature of some maples, this is a great selection. Early spring brings bright reds with green veins, summer paints with various greens and fall turns leaves an oranges and red mix. This is a vigorous, round tree that will provide some shade when it matures. #2 @ $50.00; larger @ $65.00 - $75.00

A. p. 'Ojishi'
UPRIGHT  •  3-5'  •  5-8  •  SUN-PT SHADE
This is a small version/form of the better known 'Shishigashira' or Lion Head Maple. Leaves are green and crinkled, with the edges rolling inward. Fall color is red with orange highlights. #1 @ $38.50; #2 @ $50.00

A. p. 'Okukuji nishiki'
UPRIGHT  •  5-7'  •  5-8  •  SUN-PT SHADE
This plant looks like a baby 'Butterfly', though possible more dramatic. The leaves are similar tones and patterns of variegation. Growth rate is slower and mature size smaller. #1 @ $38.50; #2 @ $52.00
